Why you should invest in people...

I actually see a lot of people being kind to dogs and cats or other animals, but they can’t be kind to someone who is homeless or is going through a lot.  Some people don’t even have sympathy or empathy for others and I get that, because people can do a lot of harm to one another.  Dogs and cats aren’t that evil compared to a human being while a human being is capable of killing or hurting someone or people.  I get that, because I see people turning towards taking in many strays as much as possible while they neglect to associate with people.  I get that because I can see why they would turn towards something who would love them unconditionally while people take more work to get them to love you back.

When you see an animal that has lost a leg, you go “AWWW…let me help.” But when you see a human being in a wheel chair, you go “Ew…how pathetic.”  Some people don’t actually think this, but I often see this kind of treatment towards the disable or handicap.    A dog with a tiny wheel that replaces it lost leg is cute but a person in a wheelchair is disgusting.  I see this kind of attitude a lot from people and in a way don’t get why people see others like this.

I am pretty saddened by why people are like this, and I feel that others who are going through a lot should get the attention they need and get lots of help from people.  They are your kind as well and to actually get people to love you back is amazing because it takes a lot of work to actually have someone love you back.  If you have invested in people than you are amazing because people have the capacity to do a lot with themselves, paying forward for others when you take time to help someone.

I do want to pay forward and I have… by volunteering.  It’s been two weeks since I volunteered and I feel amazing when I do it.  I feel that I am doing a lot when all I do is put food on a plate and pass it to the next person down the assembly line when it’s time for the homeless to eat.  the homeless’ faces light up and they feel so blessed when people come out to help them.  Without these volunteers like me, they wouldn’t have food ready for them when they come in to eat. 

The reason why I treat everyone nicely is because I used to go through a lot when I was younger and the people who are going through a lot need people to be a positive impact in their lives.  I’ve had people reach out to me and became an positive impact on my life and I am just doing what good came out of people reaching out to me. 

You should be nice to everyone because one day you might end up going through something like what people go through every day.  I never felt like I was invincible but things have happened and I am here to say that someone like me whom everyone thinks have had a good life has actually gone through situations that made me humble.

I am now humble because of the things I go through and it makes me a better person.  When you have understood life, you have understood people, because with understanding life, you need to understand people since they are just like you.  If you are to understand your life, your life is like a mirror to people and if you are to relate to people you need to go through the ups and downs of life because people go through situations all the time. 

So please be understanding and nice to people, because they are just like you and if you have had a good life, maybe one day you would have the chance to experience what others go through.  I said “Chance” because it’s a privilege to have understood people by appreciating what you go through because that’s just how you understand life and others. 

Life is like that..allowing you to experience everything in order to understand life. 

I am like this because I am appreciative of what I’ve gone through and because of what I’ve gone through I have sympathy and empathy for people since I know what they are going through.

Why you should invest in people is that it feels good to do something for someone because you are able to do things out of selflessness, without regarding someone as somebody that is inferior to you, but going beyond yourself, of what you need and what you want by helping someone in need.  Gradually as time goes when you invest in people, it would be something of need and want, because you are doing something good for your soul, mind and heart.  Anything to do with the mind, soul and heart is good.  

Please be nice to everyone because like you, they deserve kindness and positivity in their life.
