Keeping your wardrobe simple as in with the Minimalism trend...

I would like to keep things simple with my fashion.

I've always done this, try to keep things simple when it comes to fashion.  I do not want to have some over the top or extravagant item paired with my wardrobe picks unless something like that needs to be balanced with something simple.  If you are going to wear some elaborate necklace or pair of earrings make sure you keep things balanced off with your wardrobe.  Like for example, a nice classic black dress that's all black can be pairs with one or the other: elaborate necklace or pair of earrings.  Please keep your makeup simple because that elaborate necklace is the thing that will stand out.

I tend to keep my makeup natural looking and if I had long hair I would probably curl or have a wave going in my hair when I'm wearing something beachy in the summer or when I'm wearing something to go out during the day.  I tend to keep my hair straight when I'm wearing something simple because usually that's how I am. I like to be simplistic when it comes to fashion.

Right now I have a really short hair and it's a pixie cut, so certain outfits do not stand out but I like to wear tailored clothing.  I like tailored dresses that I could to wear to work at the office and then go out with the girls at night by upgrading the night by switching over from flats or small heels (from the office) to high heels and maybe add in a necklace or pair of earrings.

Generally I do not like to wear both necklaces and earrings at the same time, I have one or the other because sometimes it would be too much unless they're a pair of dainty and simple jewelry.

I've been trying to be a minimalist when it comes to fashion and I feel it's great to stick to simple pairings of items within a wardrobe.  I am also trying to be minimalist when it comes to other aspects of my life.  I am trying to get away from wanting a lot and only getting things I need for myself by not over-consuming.

I will also try to mix the same items into other wardrobes to pair up with other things so you can have an idea of how to mix something up.

Fashion is sometime elaborate but I have always kept things simple when it comes to fashion and i love seeing beauty in the simple things.  Minimalism is a trend that you may want to look at if you have time to search online.  Pinterest has many fashion trends that are going for minimalist look.
