Minimalism or Maximalism fashion?

Can I see myself as a Maximalist when it comes to fashion since the fashion trend this year is Maximalism?

You know I actually like the bold, fun patterns but for me I try to keep things simple.  I am trying to be a minimalist throughout every aspect of my life. I do like color but I like to mix in simple gestures to my style.  If you can mix in patterns with how you see something and know how to balance patterns and cool geometric or asymmetric lines within your style, then you are a fashionista.

I am seeing more geometric lines and shapes as well as asymmetry where the one shoulder is going back in style and also puffy ruffles around the shoulders, waists and cuffs of sleeves.

It is indeed fun to see where fashion is going, but happens the countertrend would be minimalism fashion since Maximalism is in style for this year.

Stores will indeed fill in more of these styles and you would be able to mix your clothing around.

I do want to keep being simplistic in my style and balancing shapes, lines and color.

I do not know if I would take on maximalism, in a way you can mix these two trends up.

You could be a minimal maximalist, being subtle with color but big on shapes and lines.

Anyways, this new coming spring 2017 has all the rage about maximalism.  If you are willing to get rid of your old wardrobe and get some new clothing items in, please go to your nearest department stores to see if you can materialize on the new trend.

I am a little sad that fashion has gone into this new direction or trend, because I really like the minimalism fashion.

My view on the world is that we should try to be all minimalists, because we are completely overconsuming on everything and I don’t even know if the world can handle this.  Perhaps we are so far down the path of overconsuming that fashion has taken a route of extremes, because what maximalism is, is that it’s about extremes.  It’s also about extremes views as well…which the nation is going into at this moment.  People are being extreme about what they are feeling and want for the nation and the world.  I do have views and I do not stay in the middle when it comes to politics because I believe my views are based on what we can do together as a whole, giving everyone the chance to live a better life mentally, physically or emotionally.  You can take on this maximalism fashion and ignore what’s going on in this world, or take on minimalism in every aspect of your life and try to do what you need for yourself and do something to keep your life from depending on certain things.  I am going to keep trying to be a minimalist because I feel simplicity is beautiful.  This  maximalism fashion really reminds me of Hunger Games of the opposite worlds we live in.

I like to keep things simple because you don’t want to be standing out too much when everything is nice and basic.  I don’t really see myself wearing big chandelier earrings with some bold fashionable, colorful outfit.  But who knows if I can try on something that has these bold colors and it’s really nice on, I might buy myself into the trend.
