I absolutely love vintage, especially during the 20s and 40s.  Well this is sort of a 40s and 50s kind of dress.  I actually found this dress at Burlington Co. Factory for 30 dollars and the flower veil head dress was about five dollars.  I really like pill box hats but havent found one that looked good on me until i went shopping at Burlington.  I was surprised that this was even in department stores.  When I see people wearing pill box hats i usually think of weddings and fancy dinners (or Kate Middleton), but i am so intrigued with them that having something like a flower veil head dress would be close enough to a pill box hat.  I like this dress very much. I have never had a dress like this before.  this is a shift dress with some 1/2 sleeves and with four buttons in front. I like the houndstooth plaids, kind of gives that vintage look.  This is my first dress that is vintage looking. I will probably wear it out to dinner!
